The walk is approximately 4.5 miles, no stiles and fairly flat, apart from the initial descent and the final climb up the hill to the car park. Initially across fields following the river, which may be muddy and slippery followed by a section of road to Mulcheney church, which has a beautifully decorated ceiling. Back along the road to pick up the old railway line footpath into Langport.
If a light lunch is required I would recommend the Bridge cafe, on the right just before the bridge.
