We are the Livingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A varied walk taking in the picturesque Fife coastal villages of Upper and Lower Largo with a hill, some pretty woodland and coast.
Starting from the cemetery carpark in Upper Largo we walk along farm tracks before a short sharp incline up Largo Law. This notable landmark has great views over the Firth of Forth estuary. We then drop through farmland to the Kiels Den, a pretty mature woodland before dropping to reach the Fife coastal path. We then walk through the attractive old fishing village of Lower Largo. Plenty of time for seal spotting and a paddle before returning through the village of Upper Largo.
Pathan be muddy and rough in places and the hill is steep.
8.00 at Livingston North railway station south side carpark for car sharing.
