One Walk for All
Starting near Lasswade in Midlothian this route joins the North Esk Way and follows the burn to Roslin Glen. The route then takes in Rosslyn Chapel and the gunpowder mills (which were used as a filming location for Outlander). The walk is on a mixture of tarmac, farm tracks and forest / river paths.
Please note that there are a few steep sections, some with steps, some without. Some sections are muddy / slippery. Some of the paths are uneven. Therefore I would strongly recommend that boots be worn, poles be carried and perhaps gaiters be worn.

Travel to start of walk by private bus. Pick up points in Cumbernauld: 8:50am - Craiglinn Roundabout Bus Stop 8:55am - Condorrat Main Road Bus Stop. 9.00 am - Meet at Fleming House car park, Tryst Rd, Cumbernauld (see map) **** Bus back at Cumbernauld approximately 6pm. ****
