Overview

Follow the SUW over Chester Hill, and, after leaving the SUW, descend to cross the Lauder Burn, followed  by a gentle ascent to Lauder Common and on to the public road to Stow. After a mix of walking along the road and over moorland, ascend to Burgess Cairn ( lunch stop here) and return to Lauder via Brown Rig and Scarce Law.
