We are the Howden and Goole Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A pleasant scenic walk through the villages of Saltmarshe and Laxton, taking field paths and tracks and a mile long stretch along the banks of the River Ouse, with views of Reedness and Whitgift on the opposite bank.
There will be a drinks/snack break. The walk will be followed by an optional pub lunch at the Bricklayers Arms, Laxton which must be booked by 30th November. The walk leader is Mike Holden.
Laxton village (near Howden) please park just past the train station on Tandy Lane, towards the village. Suggest you try to park on left side of the road, alongside the high brick wall.
