Overview

A pleasant scenic walk from Laxton village to the banks of the River Ouse. The walk will follow the river bank past Saltmarshe Hall to Ferry Farm with views of Swinefleet village on the opposite bank. Our route continues past the entrance to Goole Dock on the opposite bank, then on to Sand Hall and under Goole Railway/ River Ouse Bridge, before continuing along country lanes and field paths back to Laxton.

Laxton village, near Howden. Park just past the train station, on Station Road toward Laxton Village, please try to park on the left side of the road, alongside the high brick wall, thereby avoiding parking in front of residentual houses.
