Overview

A figure of eight walk from Leamington Hastings, Warwickshire heading across country to the Grand Union Canal then along the towpath to Napton Junction and briefly along the Oxford Canal towpath before returning past Napton Reservoirs and across country to Broadwell, Hill and Leamington Hastings.

Please note the crossover point in this figure of eight is not at the start point therefore it is not practical for some to end the walk after the first loop.

Generally flat terrain but rather muddy in places, fair mix of stiles and kissing gates, care required along Oxford Canal Towpath for approximately 0.25 miles owing to poor condition also when crossing Grand Union Canal across lock gates – handrails are provided!
