A linear walk along the river and canals between Leamington Spa and Warwick. Opportunity to have lunch in St Nicholas Park in Warwick. We walk through the market square and racecourse and onto the Grand Union Canal and up the flight of Hatton Locks. There will be a refreshment stop at the Hatton Locks Cafe and to enjoy the famous scones. We will then continue the to walk along the canal to Hatton train station and return by train to Birmingham. An ascent of 249 feet and no stiles.
Train departs BIRMINGHAM MOOR STREET STATION AT 09 43. Opportunity to catch the train from SMETHWICK GALTON BRIDGE at 09 21 or THE HAWTHORNS AT 09 23.
Estimated return train from HATTON AT 15 55, with arrival at BIRMINGHAM MOOR STREET AT 17 05.
