The route follows the quayside through Lerryn and then on a path winding through the woods along the edge of the River Lerryn. We will then head inland and follow footpaths across fields to St Veep parish church. The return route includes lanes. We will see the Lost gardens of Tivoli, St Veep church and there are views over the creeks.

Finish with a drink at The Ship.

Bring boots, food and drink. Walking poles might be useful. Dogs on short leads are welcome but will need lifting over a number of stiles, which might be difficult for large dogs.

There is one strenuous climb up a field. The path along the riverbank is corroded in places and near the edge. There are livestock (sheep) in one field. Some fallen branches in woods but easily passable, and eight stiles.
