Overview

Please bring picnic lunch. The walk covers the Lickey Hills Country Park, Alvechurch and Barnt Green. There will be a toilet stop at the Visitor Centre about 15 minutes from the start of the walk.

If you would like to car share, we are meeting at Lady Byron Lane, Knowle (Old Warwick Road) Solihull B93 9AG (near J5 of the M42) for a departure time of 9:15 am. Lifts are subject to availability. This is a round trip of approx. 30  miles and a voluntary donation of £6 is considered to be a reasonable contribution towards the costs incurred by the driver.

The Indoor Bowls Club, Brick Kiln Ln, Solihull,  B91 3LE for a departure time of 9: 15 am. Lifts are subject to availability. This is a round trip of approx. 36 miles and a voluntary donation of £6  is considered to be a reasonable contribution towards the costs incurred by the driver. 
Please park cars at the far end of the car park.

N.B. there is a charge of £1 to use the parking at the  Indoor Bowls Club. Until March 2024 this will be collected by Mike Jay.
