We are a friendly, socially active Ramblers Group welcoming all who enjoy walking. Our walks programme is extensive and varied covering all days of the week.
Meet Belmont Bus Terminus 8:45. Walk starts from Lightwater Country Park, The Avenue, Lightwater GU18 5RG w3w ///revamping.mystery.mocked at 10:00.
Cafe/toilets at start. From the car park we head up to Curley Hill where one may enjoy views of the surrounding countryside on a good day. The rest of the walk is gently undulating.
We head to Windlesham for lunch after 5.3 miles. The pub is The Half Moon in Windlesham. After lunch we skirt around an arboretum back to the car park.
If you plan to enjoy refreshments at the café, please allow plenty of time to get served. The walk will start at scheduled time.
