Overview

Along tracks, quiet lanes and moorland to the hamlet of Old Dam, with the opportunity to bag the 470 metre Starvehouse Mine trig. Returning along field paths above Conies Dale. Several stiles (mainly limestone). Possible drink at the Lamb Inn after the walk.

The carpark is just off the Edale turn off on the road from Chapelen-le-Frith to Castleton. Reach a share, right hand bend, you’ve missed it. Pay by phone, no cash, NT members free. Some roadside parking opposite.
