We are the South West Sussex Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start in Sheepwash Lane, Lavant. We go west to Lavant Stables, then south down Centurion Way, around Brandy Hole Copse , around the board walk. We get to the west of Chichester ,go around Bishops Palace Gardens, along North Walls to Priory Park,for our picnic lunch stop [toilets here]. Then we go north, through Jubilee Park and Oaklands Park and across the fields at Fordwater.
It is af flat walk. No stiles.
There is plenty of room for cars to park in Sheepwash Lane.
no.60 bus stops on main Chichester to Midhurst road.
Dogs are not allowed in Bishops Palace Gardens or Priory Park.
