We are the Medway Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will head west along the Greensand Way towards Yalding. At Cheveney we go north to Buston Manor (the only ascent but it can be taken gently). After a packed lunch at Buston Manor we then follow upper footpaths via Barnhill Oast back to Linton. Liquid refreshment can be taken at "The Bull" at Linton.
Terrain: Mostly well established footpaths across farmland with a little road walking (care should be taken on Linton Hill and Hunton Hill).
Park and meet at free car park of Linton Church located on the A229 southbound going down Linton Hill (500 yards after the cross-roads controlled by traffic lights). The car park entrance is to the left after the 30 mph sign. Nearest Post Code: ME174AW.
