Overview

Join us for this 10 mile circular walk taking in Llangattock Village, Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal,a Giant Redwood, Mynydd Pen-cyrn and crags and caves before returning via lower wooded farmlands. On street car parking is available.

Technically this walk is not difficult however the climb up to Mynydd Pen-cyrn is fairly strenuious so should only be attempted by capable, established walkers. Walking boots in good condition will be needed.  Long walking trousers are advised due to sections of the ascent having a limited no of nettles and brambles which could catch uncovered legs etc. Dogs are welcome however certain sections will require them to be kept on a lead.
