We'll start the actual walk from a free car park at Ogof Pen Eryr, Pen-y-rhiw, Llangattock, Powys, NP8 1LG Grid Ref SO 209 153 What3words: broadcast.bride.oaks,Getting to the car park from Llangattock involves narrow steep lanes so we’ll meet here at 9.45 at Park Drive Llangattock, NP8 1PN Grid Ref: SO 212 176 What3words: consumed.slang.height There is free street parking and we can car share and travel in convoy up the hill.,Weather permitting this walk will give us spectacular views from the very start. Parts of it will be rocky under foot with one steep climb so stout walking boots/shoes will be needed.,From the car park we'll follow an old tram route before making our way up and over Mynydd Pen-cyrn before dropping back down to the cars via a more tramways.,If the weather is unkind there will be an alternative.
