The walk starts and ends at Llansteffan Castle car park (the tarmac car park by the beach). Starting with a flat walk out and back along the beach, we will take the steep path up to the Castle to enjoy fine views across the estuary towards Carmarthen Bay. After leaving the Castle we will follow the tarmac track and then the path which passes St Anthony's Well to Scott's Bay before picking up the Wales Coast Path where we will ascend to Wharley Point. The walk will continue along the coastal path before turning back towards Llansteffan along the Old Kings Road. There is a final steep descent into the village before returning to the car park.
Generally good paths and quiet roads.
Some sections of the Wales Coast Path may be muddy.
There are no stiles on the walk.
Short sections of the walk are steep.
Free parking.
