We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular hilly walk through woodland, open countryside and some quiet county lanes. We are passing through Wadhurst Park, Batt's Wood up to the ridge with good view over the Sussex Weald. Heading West to Hare Hold, then up North via Sharnden Farm through Combe Wood, then back to Wadhurst passing Snape House. Several stiles in reasonable condition, some muddy slopes with a stream to cross towards the end. Gaiters and poles recommended.

NOTE The road from Mark Cross to Wadhurst is closed. We meet in Wadhurst at the top of Washwell Lane, opposite the White Hart Pub and start walking at 9.45am.
