We are the South Lanarkshire Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a lovely walk along various paths within Chatelherault Country Park.
Walk Leaders: Robin Stewart and Alison Mochrie
Distance: 7 Miles Grade C+ Circular
Meet at Chatelherault Visitors Centre at !0:15am, toilets available.
Terrain: the paths within Chatelherault are quite undulating. The walk includes the steep hill from Millnheugh to larkhall. the last part of the walk requires walking up the steps (no handrails, care required) from the Green Bridge. Finish about 2:30 pm at Chatelherault Visitors Centre.
Boots and poles recommended.
