We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will meet at Hartlake Bridge over the Medway TQ 629472. This is best reached via Tudeley and Tudeley Hale. There is roadside parking of variable quality on both sides of the bridge. The north side is probably better.
Our route will pass through Hadlow with a break for coffee. We will continue via Oxon Hoath and West Peckham where we can also take a break on the Green. Our route from there mainly follows the Wealdway and the Medway back to Hartlake Bridge.
We will pass many attractive churches and magnificent manors throughout the day.
As you would expect mud in parts but plenty of open countryside and agriculture and fruit farming to compensate.
