We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk follows paths, tracks and lanes in and around Ellisfield in Hampshire. Leaving the carpark, we head NW towards Ellisfield, before striking East and passing through Herriard Common. We turn NW again, making for and passing through Ellisfield. We continue to Bedlam Bottom, where we turn South before striking East to pass through Preston Oak Hills and return to the carpark.
The going includes all categories from good to plain wet, especially in the wooded areas, of which there are many. Walking poles, gaiters/waterproof trousers are recommended. There is one stile, in fair condition.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for the day.

Please park in the Woodlands Trust Home Farm carpark, Spain Lane, Lasham. There are two right turn junctions off the A339 for Spain Lane; please ignore the first, which is off a left-hand bend and continue to the second, where the road is straight and it is safer to make the right turn.
