From Washington we follow a low level route via Sullington and The Chantry to Grey Friars Farm and Cold Harbour (3mi) then a steep ascent (12.5%) to the South Downs Way. Descend to Lee Farm (5mi), loop around the south of Harrow Hill (6.5mi) and take a steady ascent back to the SDW (8mi). Finally we have a steep descent (10%), which might be slippery if wet, before retracing our steps to Washington.
A mixture of low level and downland. One steep climb and one steep descent. Views on a clear day.
