We are the Medway Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts on a riverside path and passes the Tudor Manor House of Lullingstone Castle, before an opportunity to make a short diversion to the remains of a Roman Villa. We will have great views of the Darent Valley and pass handsome farmhouses and flint walled cottages as well as an imposing viaduct. Near the end of the walk we will pass through the attractive village of Shoreham.
Bring a drink and a snack for a mid-way stop.
Terrain: Well used footpaths in woodland and agricultural land plus some quiet lanes.
Meet at the visitor centre car park (charges apply). Toilets and refreshments available.
