Overview

The walk starts from the car park at Bourne Wood. We head through ancient woodland and across fields towards the Grimsthorpe estate. We pass through parkland with views towards the castle before returning to Bourne Wood via Edenham.

The toilets advertised at the woods were not open on the day of the recce. There were some areas of long grass/plants so long trousers are recommended. There were several stiles and we may encounter livestock. Dogs are welcome but must be lifted and be on leads.
