We are the White Cliffs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting in Lydd (outside the library in Skinner Road) and following the England Coast Path around Dungeness before returning across Denge Marsh to the start point. We’ll be passing a firing range, a nuclear power station, sound mirrors and an airport, all while walking in England’s only desert! The walk is flat and is almost all on shingle, concrete and tarmac, so should be ideal for mid-winter.
We’ll stop for lunch at The Pilot (pub) after 7 miles.
On-street parking is available at the start and the 102 bus route from Dover and Folkestone ends in Lydd for those not driving.
