We are the Rutland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk will commence from the village green and head South via a small single track road towards Thorpe By Water. From there we head across the Welland valley to Gretton Church for coffee. Picking up the Jurassic Way, we head Easterly toward Shotley and Harringworth church for a lunch stop. Then up to Seaton and back over part of the Rutland Round to Lyddington.
Most of the walking is on good tracks / paths
There are four stiles.
Several fields have sheep in, so sorry no dogs.
Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
In the event of severe weather, please contact the leader on the morning to check the walk is still on.
