We are the Telford & East Shropshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 3 mile walk and talk tour around Lyreco, Telford's biggest employer, its huge distribution warehouse is part powered by 14,000 solar panels on its roof, it encourages walking with a photo exhibition of outstanding local green places, an eco garden and employee walks. A warehouse and rooftop tour plus a walk around Granville CP returning to eat either a packed lunch in the eco garden or one can be bought in the company canteen. A free post walk drink will be provided by Telford & Wrekin Council as part of Telford Big Walk Week to encourage people to start walking and explore local green places. Non members are specailly welcome to join us. Adults only. Dogs are not permitted on this walk. Booking is essential as places are limited on this walk.
Starting point: Park in Visitor area of the car park. The warehouse is in the industrial estate in Deer Park Way, off Redhill Way between the A5 and Asda Superstore roundabouts. Meet leader at main entrance reception area.
