Malham figure of 8 long walk stars Sunday 10th at 9am from Newfield Hall car park. The full walk is 12 Miles, total ascent around 1000 ft. The walk passes Malham Village, the waterfall at Janet's Foss and Gordale Scar. Then a gentle climb to 'The Pavement' at Malham Cove.
Option for the those wishing to do a 7 mile shorter walk. Drive 4 mile to Malham Visitor Centre pay car park with toilets Pc BD23 4DA or free road parking near by. Meet the long walkers for coffee 10.20am outside the visitor centre then we continue as one group for the most picturesque leg of the walk. Returning to Malham and cars for the short walkers. Long walkers continue on to Newfield Hall.
