We are the Wyre Forest Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An 8 mile moderate walk from Mamble following footpaths beneath Soddington Hall owned by the Blounts, the coal mining magnates of the 1700 to 1800's. Then, on to Hunthouse Wood, where the group has put in waywarking posts, ditch crossing, and extensive clearance. skirting Menithwood, then West to Lindridge Church for lunch, then north east back to Mamble. It is an undulating walk with 4 significant hills, a total of 1000 feet of ascent. If the weather is kind, we will have great views over the Worcestershire countryside.
