Overview

This route starts in one of the first public parks and finishes in one of the newest public parks in the country. It showcases some of Manchester’s historical industrial architecture and housing alongside modern buildings. It visits Angel Meadows, the Islington Marina and the lower Medlock Valley, before finally reaching Mayfield Park.

Paths could be slippery in parts, with wet leaves and mud.

No toilet places on route but there is a cafe on the Marina we can probably stop for coffee and use the toilet.
