Market Rasen

This is a 9 to 10 mile walk from John Street pay & display car park. It continues via zebra crossing over A631 through the market place to reach a playing field off the Caistor Road. The footpath follows the perimeter of a woodland, over the River Rase to the A631. After walking west a footpath continues over the A46. Country tracks and roads lead into Middle Rasen church for coffee. The walk meanders through Middle Rasen and crosses the A46 at a zebra crossing to join Mill Lane. After 1/2 mile the walk turns east along a tree lined track, across paddocks to a housing estate for lunch in a children’s playground. The walk continues to join a footpath parallel to the Lincoln to Grimsby railway line. After crossing, a footpath joins to the B1202 back to Market Rasen via Legsby Road. After crossing and following A631 east it joins a footpath with stiles. Eventually a track leads back to the centre of Market Rasen via Waterloo Road and again crossing the A631 at the zebra crossing back to John Street car park.
