We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Moderately paced 14.8mile/23.8km (or shorter) walk* with 492ft/150m ascent - about 5.5 hours net walking.
Varied walking - Thames riverside, Locks, part of Chiltern Way, woods.
* Short-cuts/bailouts possible at Hambleden, Mill End (Bus 850 - half-hourly to Marlow/Henley/Twyford/Reading) or from Hambleden Lock following the Thames into Henley.
Route: crossing the Thames to pick up Thames Path diversion through Bisham and Temple, join Thames Path after Temple Park, Thames Path through Hurley Lock and Hurley to Aston (pub), cross Thames at Hambleden Lock, Hambleden village (pub), east out of village to Heath Wood (joining the Chiltern Way), then Homefield Wood, Pullinghill Wood, Davenport Wood, to Marlow fringes, from there quiet route into town: Harleyford Lane, Low Grounds Farm, Lower Pound Lane (direct road route into Marlow would cut 1.5 miles).
Lunch Stop: pub lunch at Aston or Hambleden - or bring picnic.
Meet at Marlow Station at 11.00.
Travel: Paddington 09.48 /Ealing Broadway 09.56/Hayes & Harlington 10.05/Maidenhead 10.26 - Crossrail/Elizabeth Line from Abbey Wood to Reading - changing at Maidenhead to 10.33 Marlow train, arr 10.56.
Ticket/Fare: Off-Peak Return 19.60/SRC £12.90/SRC+FP £3.55. FP holders buy from Maidenhead.
Finish: Marlow Station - likely return trains: 17.18 or 17.48.
