Overview

Mells, just a few miles west of Frome, is widely held to be among the most beautiful villages in Somerset.  We will walk onto Barrow Hill with lovely views.  Walking mostly across fields and through woods, following the riverside path alongside the Mells Stream, it will be muddy so sticks advised.

We will have a drink after the walk at the Talbot Inn in Mells which we pass on our way through the village on our way back to the cars.
