Overview

A walk looking for autumn colour in the woods on the northern slopes of the Mendips. We will also go to Dolebury Warren, through grazing  meadows east of Blagdon, and along old tracks and minor roads with fine views. Pub stop in Blagdon. It is an undulating route, with muddy and stony stretches,  and one long, steep ascent in the afternoon. Only two ( easy) stiles.
