We are the Staffordshire Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will walk anti-clockwise around the reservoir at Chasewater Country Park. There is plenty of wildlife to see, including the swans and geese on the reservoir. This is a predominantly flat walk, mostly on wide, sturdy paths. It is unlikely that the facilities will be open at that time of the evening, but there is a Morrisons and MacDonalds just a minute’s drive up the road from the meeting point if needed.
Chasewater Railway Station, Brownhills West, Station Approach, WS8 7NL PLEASE NOTE – the meeting point is not the main car park on Chasewater, but at the other end of the Heritage Railway line, at Brownhills West Station. Parking is free, but limited.
