We are Hinckley Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Two of our leaders, Angela Preece and Mike I'Anson, celebrate a special Birthdays and have asked us to join them on a morning walk, with a meal afterwards.
Walk starts at Millers Hotel at Sibson.
Anybody who is having a meal needs to
book in with
Angela (07799 841843) as she has to give
figures to the restaurant a week before.
Meals can be ordered in the morning
before the walk, but please allow time.
Anyone who is not walking can either let
Angela have their order or give to
someone they know who is walking.
This is a circular walk which we'll be doing anticlockwise, initially heading south east to the village of Upton, where we will no doubt pause briefly to admire the antique petrol pumps.
Here we turn north east, passing through the village before heading off over the fields towards Stubble Hill Farm and The Miles Ford Plantation. On reaching Tinsel Lane we turn left and walk along the road for a short distance before following field paths westwards back to Sibson, where hopefully a tasty lunch will be awaiting us.
At some point during the walk we'll take a short break for refreshments.
