Walk Cambridge is an active walking club and social group, aimed at working age people living in Cambridge and the surrounding area.
Easy leisurely Sunday walk starting at Cambridge North Railway Station. We'll walk down to the Cam where we'll follow the river up to Bates Bite lock, after which will take a left turn on our way to Milton Country Park.
Once at the Park we'll go round the Deep Pool and Dickerson's Pit, where we'll have a coffee/snack stop at the halfway point. The Park Cafe has nice coffee, cakes, sandwiches and toilets.
After refreshments we'll get back to explore the park surrounding Todd's Pit and making our way back to the Cam where we'll backtrack our steps back to Cambridge North.
Park today was fairly dry but with forecasted rain I expect mud next week. Please wear appropriate footwear and water proofs.
Meet at 11:15am at Cambridge North for a 11:30am start. Back at Cambridge North for 3ish depending how long we stop for coffee.
