Overview

This walk will take advantage of the day length and go through the nature reserve and ascend Moel-Ffagnallt. There are fine views of Halkyn mountain and the village of Rhes y Cae before we return back through the nature reserve.

The starting point is the car park next to Coed y Felin nature reserve. Travelling from Mold to Denbigh on the A541 turn right just before entering the village of Hendre on to a minor road with the car park on the left after 50 metres.
