A circular walk starting from Morgrove Coppice - slightly shortened from the summer version.
After crossing the Coppice, we head north on the Millenium Way to Morton Common Farm.
Rather than continuing to Morton Common, we go north towards to pits of Studley Country Park to visit the water fowl and see any remaining autumn colour. Then we pass Castle Farm and circle round on Hardwick Lane to Spinney Cottages.
We join the Arden Way heading west, and visit the Church beside the River Arrow.
Then we return via the tracks of Studley Country Park, admiring the completely invisible, but still marked on the map, site of the old priory, before returning to our start point.
This walk is bound to be muddy. Or even, MUDDY.
Ascent is minimal. Stiles may not be zero, but in low single figures.
For anyone who wants a bite to eat afterwards, I'd suggest the Little Lark in Studley.
This has no car park, but there is parking in the streets behind, OR in the access roads for houses immediately before the pub.
