Travel details

By public transport

From Reading station, take the 09:09 train arriving in Winnersh Triangle at 09:16. Return trains from Twyford run every 15 minutes at :03, :07, :33 and :37 past the hour.

Note: the cheapest way to do this journey from Reading costs £4: get the 4 bus to Winnersh Triangle arriving in Cavendish Gardens at 09:08, and take the 850 bus back, making use of the £2 single bus fare cap in place until 30th June.

By car

This walk is best done via public transport from Reading. If you live outside of Reading, you could drive to and park at Reading, Twyford or Winnersh Triangle station, and use public transport to get to the start of the walk / back to your car at the end of the walk.

Reading->Winnersh Triangle: Trains run twice an hour at :09 and :39 taking 7 minutes. Twyford->Reading: Trains run four times an hour at :03, :07, :33 and :37 taking 7 minutes.

• Please note: there is NO lunch stop on this walk.
• It might be muddy – please wear suitable footwear.
