Route: The walk begins from the car park at Chartwell. It is a circular, mostly woodland, walk, taking us briefly into Emmetts Garden, where we will have our coffee stop, and back via Toys Hill to Chartwell. It includes several steep inclines, but generally good walking with some lovely views and just one stile.
Further details: The car park at Chartwell is a paying car park, but is free to National Trust members. You may like to ensure that at least one person in each car has a National Trust membership card. Chartwell is about 40 minutes drive from Crowborough. As we may be a little later finishing the walk than usual, you may like to consider having lunch at the National Trust café, before returning to Crowborough.
