We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk will take us across the Downs and down into Birling Gap, up to Belle Tout lighthouse and then back to Birling Gap for our coffee stop. We will return via one of the Seven Sisters and back through Crowlink Farm to our starting point.
You may like to consider a lunch stop at the Hiker’s Rest Café, East Dean or at Birling Gap National Trust Café, following the walk.

Our walk will begin at Crowlink National Trust car park. If you are a National Trust member, please bring your card for free parking; if not, perhaps join with someone who is. The most straightforward way to Friston is to take the A22 to Polegate. Turn right at the traffic lights, along Wannock Road to Jevington. Continue to the junction with the A259, cross over the road to Friston Church immediately opposite, then follow the track with the church on your left, to the car park.
