This is a level walk on good paths, plus some pavement walking and 2 stiles. Features of the walk include Barden Lake, Tonbridge Castle and some of the historical trail through the Country Park - unfortunately this will be restricted due to major works at the flood barrier.

Directions from the A26 approach to Tonbridge from Tunbridge Wells: Turn left at the first roundabout into Brook Street - there's a brown Country Park sign at the roundabout. After about 0.5 mile, turn right into Lower Haysden Lane - the junction is on a left hand bend where the speed limit increases from 20 to 30. Go immediately left, with the new housing development on the right and continue on it for about 400 yards before turning right into the entrance to Haysden Country Park. The car park is at the end of the driveway, on the left, with the cafe and toilets on the right. The parking charge is £2.20 for 4 hours and the machine accepts cash. The walk will start from the carpark which is next to the cafe and toilet.
