Overview

It's a mainly undulating, circular walk of just under 5 miles. The route is clockwise, passing the "Bat Cave", French Street, the boundary of the Chartwell Estate, where there may be some mud, followed by a mainly level route to Mariner's Hill for the coffee break. We'll then go via the monument to those who were instrumental in setting up the National Trust, and drop down to the path through Squerry's Estate along the River Darent before a short, steep climb back to the car park.
