The outward journey begins in the attractive village of Cosgrove and follows a pretty stretch along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal. The route then climbs away from the canal leading to field paths.
This delightful walk provides wonderful views over the surrounding countryside, and includes an idyllic area around Furtho, a former medieval village. All that remains of the village is a church, a dovecote and a farm situated in a field with a pond. You may wish to take a look inside the church and dovecote.
The walk returns to Cosgrove following a section of the Grafton Way.
