Overview

From Mountnessing the walk follows the River Wid, across fields and alongside paddocks (possibly donkeys to see!) to the pretty village of Blackmore. Pubs and cafes or picnic on the green for lunch. A table has been booked at The Blackmore Tearooms. In the afternoon the walk is on the St Peter's Way as far as Beggar Hill, then heads to Fryerning Church before a slight descent and climb to the welcoming sight of Mountnessing Windmill. Some road walking.

Please bring £1 per car donation for car parking.
