From Cwmfelinfach we ascend through wood and pastureland to St Tudur's Church at Mynyddislwyn, where we will have a coffee break.
We then head to Nant-y-Draenog reservoir, built in 1894 before Cwmfelinfach village was built. The reservoir was closed in 1979.
We pass through more pastureland and ancient hollow ways until we reach Gelligroes and the Sirhowy Valley Walk. Here we follow a woodland track, which may be fairly overgrown in places, which takes us back to the start.
Unfortunately, we will encounter one or two tricky stiles.
