The walk starts with a steep climb up from Menstrie mainly on good paths ascending Myreton and then Colsnaur Hill with great views of the surrounding hills and countryside.

Travel to start of walk by private bus. Pick up points in Cumbernauld: 8:50am - Craiglinn Roundabout Bus Stop 8:55am - Condorrat Main Road Bus Stop. 9.00 am - Park at car park for Cumbernauld New Town Hall,
Bron Way, Cumbernauld G67 2LP Then make your way to the bus stop on Bron Way (left out car park) (see map) **** Bus back at Cumbernauld approximately 6pm. ****
