This is a hilly walk with much of the walk on moorland paths. We will pass Leeming reservoir on the route out , and The Stones on the way back, where excellent views are again to be had.

Be aware that in winter this route can be somewhat exposed so good boots and waterproof clothing are strongly recommended. Don't forget a packed lunch and a warm drink to enjoy.

There is a pub in Oxenhope to enjoy a well-earned drink after the walk.
