Overview

Starting with a gentle stroll along the tarmac canal path the walk takes a steeper more uneven woodland route to the upper Reservoir in Mosshouse Wood, following tracks down into Gnoll Estate Country Park we descend and return to the start point via Victoria Gardens and the town centre. 

Following the walk we have Sunday lunch booked, £10 non refundable deposit required, places are limited. Please contact walk leader for details.

On the walk recce 05.11.23, after significant rainfall, the paths were waterlogged in places, with mud and slippery exposed tree roots. Good walking boots advised and care taken where placing your feet on muddier/steeper sections. Please wear/bring clothing appropriate for the forecast and lunch/snack. WC's available at Gnoll Park.
